GREAT NEWS!!! The Hope Foundation of Kenya is now mobile! We now have an app in the Apple App store.  Be sure to download it and see all the things you can do to stay informed about our schools and ministries.  You can even sign into our online database and send a letter to your child.

When sending an email to your sponsored child, please keep a few things in mind:

• Please make sure that personal information like email addresses, last names, mailing addresses, etc. are not put into letters between you and your child.  For security and privacy reasons, we would like to make sure that personal information does not get passed around or does not put you or your family's information at risk.

• We will collect all letters from the sponsors to the children once a month to take them to the schools.  If you would like to send an email letter, it is best to do it at the end of the month so you make sure to get it in before we print them around the first of each month.

• We will try to get responses from the children as soon as possible, but it might be a few weeks before you hear back from them, especially if you have sent your email near the beginning or middle of the month.

• All emails back and forth between children and sponsors will be approved by the administrator of the database site before the letter is sent.  This is to protect both the children and sponsors from privacy infringement and to make sure the information contained in the letter is acceptable.

We have an online student database that has information about your child in a profile that you can view anytime.  This system is wonderful and provides so many ways to keep informed about your sponsored child.  It also provides you with your own profile where you can edit information, and more. 

Your child's profile displays their name, birthday, favorite subjects, the languages they speak as well as information about their home          

CHANGES IN DONATION PAYMENT INFORMATION

and family life.  We also upload their grade reports so you can see how they are doing in school and keep up with their progress.  Reports are updated 3 times per year and we will email you when the new reports are posted.

Here are some features that we have added to our new system to help you stay informed about your sponsored child.

• A "Mailbox" Feature where you can easily correspond with your child by email.  You can send an email to your child, and when they respond, our team will upload their handwritten letter back to you to their profile.  You will be notified by email that you have a letter waiting for you from your child.  You can also print the letter and keep it for you and your family to enjoy.
• Our photo gallery is similar to that of social media sites.  Instead of only having one profile picture, you are able to see photos that your child is tagged in and are notified when they have been tagged in new photos.
• The grade reports for your child are easily accessed and you can to look at their whole year at a glance. If you already sponsor a child, you have been sent an email with your username and password for this site.  Please go to our database site by clicking the sponsor database button below and click Sponsor Login.  Enter the username and password that you were given.  If you don't know or remember your log in information, you can email us at info@hopefoundationofkenya.org and we will be able to give it to you.

CORRESPONDING WITH YOUR CHILD

If you are currently sponsoring a child and your automatic donation payment information changes at any point, you can easily update it in our system.  If you have a new credit card number, checking account number, expiration date, or change of personal information, please let us know.  You can access the payment information through our online portal.  Click the button below and claim your donor account.  Once you are signed in, you can update address, phone number, email, and donation information.  If you have any questions call us at (800)513-1625 and we will be happy to help you set it up.  Thank you for your sponsorship of our ministry!  We appreciate your generosity.

Your sponsored child would love to hear from you and know more about you and your family.  If you would like to send a letter or pictures to your child, you have a couple of options. You can send your letter in an email to your child through our online database, and we'll pass it onto your child in Kenya.
